Here are the predictions made this week:
Gartner predicts “IoT Security Spending to Hit $1.5 Billion This Year.”
Via MIT Technology Review: “Water scarcity could affect 5 billion people by 2050.”
Via The Motley Fool: “Starbucks Shoots for Recyclable, Compostable Cup by 2021.”
“Nissan Wants to Sell One Million Electric Vehicles a Year by 2022,” says Bloomberg.
According to InfoSecurity Group Magazine, which has zero stake in predicting this particular future, “Cyber-Terrorism Set to Be Top Threat by 2020.”
Techcrunch says that “Jack Dorsey believes bitcoin will be the world’s sole currency within 10 years.” Seriously?!
